Progetto GUARDIANS
Empowering small – medium – sized farms through digital solutions.
The GUARDIANS Project understands the challenges small- and medium-sized farms are going through in the global market, and will help them to bridge the current technological gap with bigger farms through the implementation of a set of digital innovative solutions.
Farmers are the main characters in our project, having the power to preserve the biodiversity of their territories.
GUARDIANS project has received funds from the European Union under the Horizon Europe research and Innovation programme (CALL-HORIZON-FARM2FORK-02-04) with an overall budget of 5,57 Mio. € and an EU contribution of about 5 Mio. € for a 48-month duration since June 2023.
The Consortium is made of 22 partners from 8 EU countries, coordinated by CTIC (ES). The Italian partners are MIAC Scpa – Polo AGRIFOOD, Fondazione LINKS, Fondazione ICONS, SMACT Scpa and RINA Consulting Spa.
